What is currently missing?

Kafka connectors promotion from one env to other is not fully functional, with editable params

How could this be improved?

Kafka connectors promotion implementation

Is this a feature you would work on yourself?

At the moment i think it is malfunctioning but also not up to the same spec as the promotion abilities of the other resources.

Picking this up now to get it fully functional and improve exp.
