Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

There are several emulators available on Linux (Lime3DS for 3DS, PCSX2 for PS2, Ryujinx for Switch, Dolphin for GameCube/Wii, etc.) most of which can be installed from the repos (at least on Arch or via AUR). As far as I'm aware installing emulators is perfectly fine legality-wise, it's only downloading ROMs and possibly BIOS that isn't. One benefit of this is getting the name of an up-to-date emulator in case a previously well-known one has been taken down (see Citra vs Lime3DS or Suzu vs Ryujinx as the former of both options have been taken down while the latter of both are still up).

I'm mostly bringing this up for the possibility of adding emulators. If it's deemed too risky from a legality standpoint you can close this issue no problem. I have no problem writing up some scripts to do the installation (at least on Arch, not so sure about Debian or Fedora).

Describe the solution you'd like

A series of options under gaming (perhaps in an Emulation subdirectory) that installs the relevant emulator for the user. Possibly with a warning to the user saying it is their responsibility to procure ROMs from a dump of a game they legally own. There should be NO copying of ROMs or BIOS files, it is only for installing the emulator itself.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Main alternative is just to manually install the emulators from the repo of your distribution if you happen to know what to install.
