Among the possible engine selections we should add JMonkey (https://jmonkeyengine.org/). Good example project: https:/noncom/jme-android-example/
As far as I can see this is also started off of Bullet physics engine, but unlike cz.advel.jbullet which was not updated since 2010 is actively maintained.

Also see https:/leader94/JmeWithAndroid. Seems like we'll have to create our own AndroidHarness class and dig in more to be able to rip out the required functionality
