Download Firebird-ODBC version 3.0

Download the new version of Firebird ODBC v3.0.0 Release for Windows & Linux and test it. Please note, this version is only for Firebird clients 3.0 and later. If you have fbclient.dll from 2.5 or older version, it will not work.

The zip archives below contain both win32 & x64 debug and release versions, dlls & installers, and Linux shared and static libs.

ATTENTION!

  • Dll name was changed to FirebirdODBC.dll;
  • Driver name was changed to "Firebird ODBC Driver";
  • The new driver will be installed in a separate folder ({Program Files}\Firebird\Firebird_ODBC_3 actually) and can be safely uninstalled if necessary.

So, if you want to create a DSN using the new driver edition, you should select "Firebird ODBC Driver". Your DSNs associated with the current driver version ("Firebird/Interbase(r) driver") will continue to work and will not be affected by installing a new driver.

P.S. If, more than aspirations, your antivirus detects malware in the install packeges, be sure - it's a False Positive, related to InnoSetup issues. All the packages have been checked by VirusTotal and are clean. However, please notify me immediately if your antivirus has any problems with them.
