[ FEATURE REQUEST ] - Talking about festivals. #673
Comments
Hello @VendixDilan and thank you for raising an issue with us. Although it's more about the origin, we already mentioned that we would like to avoid overly religious topic to keep the events fun for everyone and unbiased. Additionally, Natsuki already mentioned the intention behind Easter briefly in her event and showed less interest in it. (Which also makes more sense as she is more of an emotional person, so these are more important for her). |
Sorry, I missclicked with the close. The next holiday events aren't in the near future, so I would like to wait what the other devs have in mind about this. |
Many festivals have weird traditions that we just accepted as normal, i think if she would talk about why we do them and what they mean would be interestin. Like, putting a glass of milk and some cookies for santa out. Or how a specific soda company was the cause of the red and white color scheme of Santa, that we all know today. Stuff like these are pretty weird, but we've accepted them as normal and don't really think about it much. So i think that those kinds of things would be interesting. And luckly don't have a lot of religion involved. |
Overview:
I think it would be a nice addition to the game if Natsuki would talk a little about a festival/event etc.
For example, she would talk about Eastern on Eastern, about Christmas on Christmas and so on. She would talk about how it got invented, what it's purpose and meaning is and also how it changed over the years.
Must haves:
Dialogue about the mentioned topics.
Could haves:
I personally would find it nice if she would talk about it on the day of the given festival. It would make it more memorable and special.
