Test for broken DB config to verify KIC still functions and doesn't crash #4266

As a follow up to #4215 we should add tests for broken DB config to prevent this type of bugs.

Acceptance criteria

Test(s) for broken DB config exist which check whether KIC crashes when such a broken config is provided by the user
