Specifically add to this page, a reminder to users that Kiwi IRC has an 'advanced settings' option to automatically reconnect. Packet loss and other things can cause disconnects every few hours.

Apparently, 'disconnectOnSaslFail' under Kiwi IRC advanced settings, and adding any automatically assigned alternate nick to NickServ through 'GROUP' may also be necessary.
