While running face detection.py script I am facing this issue.

OpenCV Error: Assertion failed (!empty()) in detectMultiScale, file /home/pi/opencv-3.3.0/modules/objdetect/src/cascadedetect.cpp, line 1698

@nagarajansriram - you should put the haarcascade_frontalface_default.xml file into the Cascades folder.
Just download the whole folder into your project - https:/Mjrovai/OpenCV-Face-Recognition/tree/master/FaceDetection/Cascades
