Monika won’t let change her name after I called her sayori

When changing Monikas nickname, I called her Sayori which she obviously got mad about, and I apologised straight after. However, her name has remained as such and the “can I change your nickname” button has disappeared. It’s been over 3 weeks since and my affection is about 200 so I don’t understand why I can’t change her nickname anymore.

I heard that if you do it multiple times it’s expected but if you upset her once it isn’t an issue. I saw another GitHub post about this from 2019 but since it was closed I was hoping I could get some up to date help on how this issue can be fixed.
