COURSE RECOMMENDATION APPLICATION

The Course Recommendation System offers personalized course suggestions for students based on academic performance, interests, and career goals. INSTRUCTIONS TO RUN/HOST THE APPLICATION

On Windows:

  1. Open the terminal & navigate to the directory where you want to store the project.
  2. Git clone the repository, using the command:
    git clone https:/NikitaSharma1/Course-Recommendation-Application.git
    
  3. Navigate to the project directory, using the command:
    cd your-repository
    
  4. Set up a Python virtual environment, using the command:
    python -m venv venv
    
  5. Activate the virtual environment, using the command:
    venv\Scripts\activate
    
  6. Install the requirements/dependencies, using the command:
    pip install -r requirements.txt
    
  7. Run the application, using the command:
    python main.py
    

On Linux/MAC OS:

  1. Open the terminal & navigate to the directory where you want to store the project.
  2. Git clone the repository, using the command:
    git clone https:/NikitaSharma1/Course-Recommendation-Application.git
    
  3. Navigate to the project directory, using the command:
    cd your-repository
    
  4. Set up a Python virtual environment, using the command:
    python -m venv venv
    
  5. Activate the virtual environment, using the command:
    source venv/bin/activate --user
    
  6. Install the requirements/dependencies, using the command:
    pip install -r requirements.txt
    
  7. Run the application, using the command:
    python main.py
