After lesson 2, everyone should be able to:

Core goals:

  • assess whether GitHub is the right platform for them
  • create an issue
  • update an issue
  • comment on an issue
  • label an issue
  • adjust notification settings on an issue
  • assign an issue
  • mention someone in an issue
  • link one issue to another issue
  • create a milestone
  • assign an issue to a milestone
  • view all issues in a milestone
  • query for all the issues to which they're assigned
  • query for all the issues on which they're mentioned
  • query for all issues in which they've participated in some way

Stretch goals

  • embed a screenshot in an issue
  • move issue to another repository
  • create a project
  • create a board within a project
  • add an issue to a board
