We figured out nice feet on the ironworker we're building in the shop. Add them to the model, BOM, & assembly instructions.

They're 2 hole tubes that bolt along the bottom below the pivot plates. They don't look like much but they made it almost impossible for Marcin and I to tip over the machine.

The new parts are:
2 x 2 hole tube (one on each side)
2 x 21" x 1" threaded rod
4 x 1" washers
2 x 1" lock washers
2 x 1" nuts

We should hold off on updating the docs until we rebuild the pivot since it may affect the details of how this is mounted. See #3.

We changed some stuff and made the feet wider by putting 2 tubes on each side. New parts list for feet:
4 x 2 hole tubes (2 on each side)
2 x 29" x 1" threaded rod
4 x 1" washers
2 x 1" lock washers
2 x 1" nuts

Now we can go ahead and update the 3d model, BOM, & assembly instructions.

A handy tip for the assembly instructions are to lift the ironworker just off the floor or put a couple of washers under the bottom tube. This will make it easier to bolt on the feet (and anything else against the floor) and will ensure that the feet are at least as low as the bottom tube.

There are two 3d models floating around: http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:IronworkerI.skp, and http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:IronworkerBOM.skp which has the design and bill of materials. I don't know if they have the same model or not. If one is obviously more up to date, use that one, otherwise use the one without the BOM.

Download it, make the changes, and upload the result here or to a new file name on the wiki (you can log in with a google account using the openid login link in the top right).

As much as possible, you should copy and paste pieces from the "warehouse" of standard parts. We have a model with all of them- http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/Warehouse

You can see pictures of the feet at https://opensourceecology.trovebox.com/p/tu although those feet are 3 holes long and they should be 2 holes long.

We put it in the assembly guide and then BOM is generated from that, so we just need to update 3d model.

@marcinose is going to put taller legs on it so we should hold off on this ticket until we have the new feet/legs designed.

It's got nice legs!

We need to update the 3d model and maybe assembly instructions.
