Hello friends, maybe this is not the right place but I think it is good to comment on it.
I have an iPad Pro 2017 10.5" with a 4:3 aspect ratio screen.
When I emulate Megadrive games with the GenesisPlusGX core (not the Retroarch version) through Provenance the games work wonderfully but a black bar of approximately 1 cm is displayed on each side of the screen.
It's a bit ugly, it would be nice if the game was viewed in full screen on my iPad since the aspect ratio matches that of the console (4:3).

Hello friends, first of all I must admit that I am not an expert in resolutions or aspect ratios. In fact, I think the emulator works correctly to make a "pixel perfect" rendering, since my iPad is 4:3 but the NTSC pixel perfect is really 8:7 on the LCD screen. There is more information here:
