How do I use Trsst from a new device or computer

Trsst does not store any of your data on a remote server, instead your data flows through the entirety of the network continuously which provides resilience in the case that a centralised company or server has not done their business continuity homework and has it's servers go offline or the business actually goes bust.

To prove you are who you say you are to the rest of the Trsst network however (which entitles you to also decrypt encrypted messages that were sent to you) a keypair and identity was set up for you when you registered the initial account on the device. These files prove your identity are typically stored in your home directory.

In Windows: C:\Users\<Windows Username>\Trsst Accounts

If you created and registered more than one identity (good privacy and security practice!) you may have more than one identity residing in this folder or directory.

If you want to maintain that same identity or identities on a different device, simply copy or backup the identity (including all your keypair/keystore/certificate files) to the new device that you wish to use the new identity with. If you want all of them you can simply copy the entire Trsst Accounts folder to the new device.

How do i delete my Trsst account?

As the account is held and managed by each Trsst users themselves on as many devices as they wish to use the identity or identities on, your account is not stored on any Trsst servers nor is it owned or managed by Trsst or anyone else. You simply delete the corresponding identity or identities from the device you wish to 'delete your account' on. (Unsure yet if there is a facility to delete users/nicks as they are unique?)
