There is also Briar, uses Bluetooth, Wifi, and Tor simultaneously. The only downfall is it is Android only. |

@mona-lisa-1234 I built one as part of an EU project related to activism. Now there is one that does exactly this called Berty. It’s fully open and designed for this. It’s very well built and been developed for many years and so is well done and works. I don’t know what activist experience their team has though. I know one of the team members and can help . I have experience as a Security Architect also. let me know if you want sone help. |

Just suppose bypassing internet outage and using a Bluetooth messenger app for the communication and coordination of protests. The app must be designed for this purpose so that person A can send a message to B, then B to C, ... to Z :). Problem solved? With the evolution of Bluetooth hardware, we can get a good enough distance for the connection.
