BeamSection is a free beam cross-section software program for engineers. This tool provides you comprehensive beam property calculations those are often used in engineering simulation and practice.

Minimum Specs

The minimum supported specs are

  • Dual-core 3.0 GHz CPU (must be 64 bit)
  • 4 GB Ram
  • C++ redistributable 2015-2019 for Windows
  • Windows OS

Supported Beams

I Beam, Hollow Rectangle, Rectangle, C Beam, T beam, Hollow circle, Round bar, Angle.

Supported Properties

Area, Area moment of inertia (Ixx, Iyy), Centroid distance (Xc, Xy), Elastic section modulus (Sxx, Syy), Torsion constant (J)
