Add files from .csv file #3

Would highly appreciate that feature, is it already in development? |
Hi @1kohm , What is your particular use-case that can't be achieved with the data importer? |
Hi @afonsoc12, I read that this tool is quite powerfully, but I was not successful with deploying Firefly Data Importer in my Docker env. due to an error: That's the reason I was not able to test if data importer can handle import other than banking format. I'm planning to switch to Firefly iii and for that need to import my home budget that I've stored so far in Excel file for last couple of years... I got there several thousand of rows ;) That's the reason I'm interested in .csv import using CLI. just thinking about putting them manually to Firefly via web UI discourage me. |
I totally understand that writing each one individually is painful. This looks to me like an outdated Apache or an incompatibility with the Linux kernel. May I refer you to the official Firefly III gitter? The main developer is very helpful at providing support for these kind of problems. Feel free to tag me in your message (same username) |
Add feature to allow importing transactions from a file, in a comma-separated format.
It will append a column on position 0 with either the date the transaction was added to firefly or the transaction number.
