Insert image in front of map and get central position

I need to use an image to get the central position of the map. Is there any way to insert this image in front (ahead) of the map? I'm using Flutter to adapt my app where I used Javascript to do it, here is how is done now: https://imgur.com/Mla4Nif

I'm trying to show an Image Widget fixed in front middle of the map.

That's not currently possible with this plugin. Have you tried using flutter_map?

I've created a fork and added this functionality (only for Android at the moment)
I've also added onCameraMoveStarted and onCameraIdle listeners.
