Right now we work around it by catching the exception and ignoring it by patching pdf.worker.js.

This is obviously the wrong fix, but it works.

Failure occurs ~50% of the time on Eric's Ubuntu laptop and ~20% of the time with Chromium. It's clearly some kind of race condition.
