The improvements of IAVL are very appealing and are a good reason among others on why we should seriously consider upgrading. I am not sure though about CometBFT w/ ABCI++ though. Personally I would be in favor of upgrading the SDK and IBC but maybe use the last version of Tendermint (assuming this is possible easily) let's see what others think (can you rename the title to something more explicative?) |

Hi,
I am curious which version of the stack is going to use GovNo/AtomOne.
Given that it is a hard fork from Gaia, it already could use the latest version of the available software (namely Cosmos SDK v0.50, IBC v8, CometBFT v0.38) and possibly be the first production chain to use it.
Or if the goal is to be more conservative and stick with the legacy version Gaia is using?
