Description of changes:

  • Improvement - New AL2 image with iptables-1.8.2 (@mogren)
  • Improvement - Enable the -buildmode=pie flag for the binaries (@mogren)
  • Improvement - Disable IPv6 RA and ICMP redirects on host-side veth (@anguslees)

@mogren Can we get a 1.6.1 release with the AL2 image as well?

@otterley Yes, will do, but I would really like to get #887 resolved before making the next release.

If this is urgent, doing a git tag v1.6.1-rc1 && make docker will create a new CNI image with that tag.
