Existing 1.0 release no longer syncs to internet, only LAN peers #28

I don't know how to compile a fresh version, but the old 1.0 release can no longer connect to peers out across the internet. It only syncs with local devices on the same network.

Doesn't matter if the phone is on wifi or mobile data.

Tested on a Pixel w/ Android 8.1.0

Another clue: I was able to get cabal-node running in Termux on my phone, but it was never able to sync with any peers under any conditions.
