Different images

Besides Live CD/DVD images, other images are unsupported. These images are different and don't work with Customizer.

Minimal CD

The minimal CD contains only packages needed for downloading most recent packages for installation. Unlike Live CD/DVD, it does not have squashfs compressed image for remastering purpose. See also FAQ #2564 on Launchpad.net.

Alternate install CD

The alternative image contains only installable Debian packages. Similarly, it does not have the necessary squashfs compressed image for remastering purpose.

Debian releases

Both Debian and Ubuntu ISO images use squashed filesystem, but Debian ISO image structure is different from Ubuntu. Customizer is not designed to handle image structures of non-Ubuntu.
