The version currently on Google play was release on September 14, 2016. It looks like there have been many updates made to the app since then; it would be great to make them available on the play store!

F-Droid was published by a 3rd party, I don't have access to that. I'll have a look that I publish an update to Google Play the coming days. 👍

Can we deploy to Play & F-Droid via CircleCI?

Technically that is possible, but for Play we need my signing key. Otherwise the Play Store cannot update the apk. How that works for F-Droid I have no idea, but I guess we can automatically deploy that as well if we have access to it.

I just saw that there is a thing called upload key for google play now. So maybe we can actually use Circle CI for deployment to Play. Does it support jobs for specific tags / branches or manually triggered ones? Then we could implement this.

Yeah, you can run jobs just for matching branches or tags.

@amuttsch Can you give me access to the Google Play account and I can try to automate this?
