Consider moving repo to IQSS/dataverse-client-javascript #1
Comments
Oh, the other thing I forgot to mention is that I'm THRILLED that this package is on npm already! 🎉 |
Hi @pdurbin I think moving it to the IQSS repo sounds awesome. I would wait a little bit more though. We are improving it on a daily basis as we develop AHEAD. I thought making it to NPM would be great to start enabling devs to create projects in nodejs. I am happy with giving credits to The Agile Monkeys. We are very glad that you liked our initiative 🚀☺ |
@tainguyenbui sounds perfect. I went ahead and created https:/IQSS/dataverse-client-javascript and https:/orgs/IQSS/teams/dataverse-client-javascript-admin and invited you to join that new "admin" team. That means you can invite others to be "admin" as well. The new repo is empty right now and there's no rush to push to it. Whenever you're ready, please go ahead. Thanks! |
Hi @pdurbin, repository has now been moved to IQSS organization We will maintain module name as |
Hello! I just heard about this new Javascript library for Dataverse API client library from Erik and I'm EXTREMELY EXCITED about it! Thank you!! 🎉 🎉 🎉
I would be happy to create an empty repo for you at https:/IQSS/dataverse-client-javascript and create an "admin" team for @tainguyenbui and any other developers who should be included.
In the past, I created the following repos (empty at first)...
... so this would be following the same pattern.
In addition we would of course give you credit for creating this new client library, like we have done at http://guides.dataverse.org/en/4.16/api/client-libraries.html for the Python, R, and Java libraries mentioned above. Here's a screenshot of that page:
Please let me know! Thanks! 🎉 🎉 🎉
