We have quite a few issues open. (I'm partly to blame as I use them to capture/share thoughts...)

Where issues have a help wanted label applied to them, we should show them on: dwyl/tudo#146 so that a human can investigate.

Issues with only the original comment:

  • "Is this still an issue or can it be closed? please add detail or close if no longer required"
(we can iterate on the copy...)

Issues with multiple comments (i.e. some discussion/progress)

  • "Is this still an issue?"

After @dwylbot has commented, we should wait for a set amount of days for the person to reply and
.then automatically close the issue with the following comment:

  • "this issue has been closed due to in-activity. if there is still an ongoing question/problem about/with code that has not yet been resolved, please feel free to re-open and add a comment with more detail so we can help triage it. Thanks!"

@nelsonic I'm not sure if this is dwylbot's remit or within the remit of the tudo app? Issue management should be within tudo, no?

@markwilliamfirth I think it would still be nice to have dwylbot add in a comment with a friendly reminder to get things on people's radar given how useful the feature is personally.
tudo is still a little way off!

Either way, tudo should trigger a comment in the issue so that it's followed up on in a way that people who don't use tudo (e.g. contributors to a repo) can see and action - for this we'll need it to be built into dwylbot 👍
