Having used git & GitHub since loooong before the App was released,
I haven't used it much ... but perhaps I should and try to summarise how it's useful. 💭

Crucially: is it useful to a beginner? Or a distraction?
i.e. are beginners better off just using the command line for the 6 commands they need
and only installing the Desktop App when they need something more advanced? 🤷‍♂️

I have some gnarly merge-conflicts in a work project right now so considering diving into this.
I've always done merge-conflict resolution manually via cli in the past ... 💻 ⏳

Edit: Going to look at this on Monday morning ... 🌅

Personally, I don't have it. Although I have it on my iPad but it is only used secured login credentials. I do not even use git much. Went back to old style backups. much more my style. I use github for stars.
