Currently, clicking to start a timer expands the item to show ALL the timers historically and makes the item description editable.

In the screenshot below, I only pressed on the Resume button and not the description of the item or anywhere else:

I may have missed the requirement in another issue for this (I am definitely behind on notifications) but having this happen creates two problems in my view:

  1. It immediately creates a sense of clutter on my screen and consequently in my mind
  2. Allowing me to change the item name by mistake is making the whole thing more prone to user error (deleting it or parts of the description by mistake).

@iteles I was just about to open an issue describing how I want to see all the past timers for an item.
Perhaps this could be configurable especially for items that have many timers ... 💭
