Kibana version: 7.14 Snapshot Kibana Cloud-qa environment

Host OS and Browser version: linux, All

Preconditions:

  1. 7.14 Snapshot Kibana Cloud-qa environment should be available.

Build Details:

BUILD 42091
COMMIT fe3ea8ed1fc80caa3acd805d24a1e9ea882aa30f
  1. Default policy should be available.

Steps to reproduce:
- Login to Kibana.
- Navigate to default policy's settings tab.
- Make any changes to say name and description.
- Further, Scroll down to 'Unenrollment timeout' field and provide any value say '120' seconds.
- Save changes
- Navigate back, and suppose you don't want to provide any value to 'Unenrollment timeout' field and delete the value provided.
- Again, Save the settings.
- Observe, Validation message appears.

Expected result:

  • Default value should be set to zero instead of 1.
  • User should be able to avoid/rollback previously made changes to 'Unenrollment timeout' field.

IMPACT: Suppose user used these changes for a while, however, if later user want to rollback the setting made under required policy, he will not be able to do that and hence restricting user to use the policy again.
