Currently when Elastic solutions require a chart they use Elastic charts and implement it in their UI. Post GA, tt would be ideal to be able to leverage Lens and embed it inside solutions instead of working directly with Elastic charts for several reasons:

  • Should be quicker to implement for solutions team. As long as they can create the chart in Lens they can quickly embed it as part of the solutions
  • Users will have the ability to always go "off route" and open the embedded visualizations in Lens for further exploration. This increases Kibana strength as a platform as well as turn-key solution.
