Description & motivation

  • Resolves Minor release follow-up for dbt v0.19.0 #308
  • Bumps upper bound to allow dbt v0.19.0, which has no breaking changes
  • Since there are no breaking changes, I'd love to cut a patch release of dbt-utils that bumps its upper bounds before the final release of v0.19.0. This would make it easier for folks to test v0.19.0-rc1, since it obviates the need to explicitly pass --no-version-check.

TODO

  • Wait until v0.19.0-rc1 is released on pypi

Checklist

  • I have verified that these changes work locally on the following warehouses (Note: it's okay if you do not have access to all warehouses, this helps us understand what has been covered)
    • BigQuery
    • Postgres
    • Redshift
    • Snowflake
  • I have updated the README.md (if applicable)
  • I have added tests & descriptions to my models (and macros if applicable)
  • I have added an entry to CHANGELOG.md
