American Community Survey Download Instructions

1. Go to the American Fact Finder Download Center
2. Choose American Community Survey, then the year you want.
3. For census-tract granularity, select 5-year estimates
4. Click 'Add to your selections'
5. Click next
6. Select Census Tract - 140
7. Select state = District of Columbia (or, to get other or national data, leave blank)
8. Click 'Add to your selections' to add 'All census tracts within District of Columbia'
9. Click Next
10. Type either a topic (rent) or table name (B25064) into 'Refine your search results'
11. To remove a search term, click the blue 'x' next to it on the right hand side.
12. Check the item you want to download. You can only download up to 40 tables at one time. Each item will be downloaded as a separate CSV file.
