Overview

Every week we need to do a 'clean up' of our project boards. Ideally this will be done Mondays or Tuesdays before the PM meeting. Copy the action items list and post the weekly tasks in a new comment to complete.

Action Items

  • Start a new comment below and use the following template:
### [DATE]

- [ ] Review the 'prioritized backlog' columns for the [project management](https:/hackforla/access-the-data/projects/1#column-12519285) and [website](https:/hackforla/access-the-data/projects/6#column-19010150) boards and make sure every issue in the column has the correct labels
- [ ] Review the 'in progress' issues for the [project management](https:/hackforla/access-the-data/projects/1#column-12519286) and [website](https:/hackforla/access-the-data/projects/6#column-18915560) boards to see if they have been updated

Resources/Instructions

Directions:
Review project management ice box and website icebox and see if dependencies are still open or not

  • If there are still open dependencies (green circles) then leave in the icebox.
  • If all dependencies are closed (purple circle), move the issue to the "prioritized backlog"

Review the 'prioritized backlog' columns for the project management and website boards and make sure every issue in the column has the following labels:

  • feature (blue)
  • role (purple)
  • size (yellow)

Review the 'in progress' issues for the project management and website boards and see if they have an assignee and if that assignee has left a comment within the past week.

  • If they have commented in the past week, look at their updates to see the progress, if they need help, and move on to the next one
  • If they have not commented in the past week, add the red "To Update!" label and leave a comment requesting updates using the To Update 'saved reply' feature asking:
    • Progress: "What is the current status of your project? What have you completed and what is left to do?"
    • Blockers: "Difficulties or errors encountered."
    • Availability: "How much time will you have this week to work on this issue?"
    • ETA: "When do you expect this issue to be completed?"
    • Pictures: "Add any pictures of the visual changes made to the site so far.
