As AWS SDK for Go v2 does not support the AWS_S3_US_EAST_1_REGIONAL_ENDPOINT environment variable, after merging #33304 we have lost support for this method of configuring the required functionality for those S3 resources (eventually all) that use AWS SDK for Go v2.
