On iOS Staging 4.29, @mstidham reports that the iOS status bar has white text. It seems to be a 'dark mode' thing even though we already opted out of dark mode via #4258.

Hmmm ... I vaguely remember RN 0.61.2 has some changes to the StatusBar API for dark mode. Maybe that's related.

Related, maybe?

iOS13 status bar has now 3 styles (facebook/react-native#26294)

It's in RN 0.61.2.
