Software Quality Assurance Documents

The SQA documents are maintained both in the RAVEN GITHUB repository (doc/sqa) and INL EDMS system (NOT ACCESSIBLE FROM OUTSIDE INL). RAVEN is currently classified as NQ1 Level 3 (research tool) software, but soon will be moved and maintained with Level 2 (commercial grade - no safety) standard.

In order to retrieve the RAVEN SQA documentation, navigate to the raven sqa directory located at:

• ./raven/doc/sqa/ and run (in your terminal) the building bash script:

• ./make_docs.sh (prepend bash.exe in Windows)

All the following SQA documents are going to be generated and collected in a new folder called "sqa_built_documents" :

  • Project planning information
  • High level overview touching on our entire project and software development
  • Contains Roles and Responsibilities
  • Contains Merge Request Workflow
  • Contains Workflow Diagram
  • Plan for developing the software
  • Contains document references to other relevant plans and procedures
  • Contains information about SSD and QLD
  • Contains definitions of software V&V (not Modeling V&V)
  • Contains methods and procedures for our software V&V
• RAVEN Software Design Description SDD-513
  • Contains the documented software design of RAVEN
• RAVEN Software Requirements Specification and Traceability Matrix SPC-2366
  • Contains the RAVEN software requirements and the traceability matrix
