I think this is great. In at least one of my interviews, a developer spoke directly to this:

I REALLY like the WebUI for exploring what I've got under a particular hash. I haven't seen anything that makes it this clear or easy in other merkle-tree systems.

  • Still not perfect, though. Really want a tool that just visualizes my tree and each node in it allowing me to explore their properties and links.

…though I think Geoff might have been searching for something that was more of a visual explorer than a REPL. It still gets at the same need though: iteratively digging through and exploring nodes and their links.
