I hope to bring some more people here :)

Let me know if I made any mistakes.
I am also sharing a few ideas for improvement here, for example:

Drag to draw new values for multiple taps at once (maybe hold shift for a ramp from start to finish)?

I'm just done watching this video, and it's great thank you.

As you did well to mention, the version which you're presenting is in the early stage.
In absence of a manual, it's not always easy to figure out, but I'll clarify my best.

  • it's correct that this software takes Logic's Delay Designer as its reference
  • it has evolved a ton since the video; we've been implementing the proper editor, and you'll be probably shocked at how the present revision looks compared to that which you tested
  • there is a copy-and-paste between taps, implemented on Alex's request, which probably helps the workflow a bit
  • there is a reset in the menu, listed as "recall defaults"
  • it'll be implementing a preset library in the dropdown; this would help to not start completely from scratch. we don't have any presets now, but will accept yours if you don't mind, with the appropriate crediting
  • the multi-slider drag which you mention is the issue Select multiple taps in tap window #3
  • there has since been implemented a soft clipping on the filter resonance (the 12dB/oct), to help in case the feedback would go through the roof, but not totally:
  • the feedback can be 0dB or greater, as you may have noticed. this is danger zone, and also a "feature" of the reference software. It was probably made such that you can automate over there for not very long periods, rather than steadily

Other:

  • the left-right-arrows button next to Pan is Flip, which serves to invert left and right

Thanks for the update! I should probably make a follow-up video. I should've updated the plug-in right before recording - sorry about that.

I've just tested box select and it seems I can't change settings of multiple taps at once using it (tried enabling filter on a multiple selected taps, but only the last one selected responded to the change).

Not sure if that's a known problem, or maybe I messed something up.

Also: soft clipping the resonance sounds great, as I should now be able to drive it fro some nice distorion!
I think feedback above 0 dB is great, and does give very useful options for automation. Maybe it could go RED when you cross 0 dB though, as a warning?

Not made yet. The lasso selection can use the delete key, but that's all for now.

It's a good idea.

If I may ask, what do you think about the pitch-shifter?
It's a challenge to find good pitch shifting options in open source, it's not one that I'd call amazing.
In coming work, DA will be receiving an anti-alias filter which may increase PS quality in case of shifting up.

Update on pitch shift: the antialias filter is implemented.

@unfa it's implemented just now. One can maintain shift and click: this turns the cursor into a pencil, and taps can be edited in one go. Note that, for a 2-valued setting (cutoff), the left and right clicks are used to modify either value. the nearest one is edited.
