First day of month is marked blue

If the users selects a date in calendar, the blue marker jumps always to first day of month. What is it needed for?

Hi @netthinks

on first load after all cookies are deleted the blue marker marks the current day. I remember problems with old jquery based calendar and switching around through the months. I got JS errors, if current day was 31. of a month and you swirch to a month with just 30 days. That's why I have set current day always to the first of the month.

I think, after switching to the new non-jquery based calendar it's time to remove that snippet.
