Compatibility with lazy loader libraries (using IntersectionObserver API) such as Lozad.js

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Frustratingly I cannot use seem to use lazy loading libraries such as Lozad.js, for example.

Describe the solution you'd like
The ability to use a library for lazy-loading images properly to help enhance performance.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I have seen #95 but I'd like to actually use a library, as this covers far more scenarios, i.e. different tags, viewport sizes, background images and img tags and so forth.
