Code of Conduct

We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all contributors to our project. We expect all participants to adhere to the following code of conduct:

  1. Be respectful: Treat others with respect and kindness. Do not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other personal characteristic.

  2. Maintain professionalism: Keep discussions and interactions professional and focused on the project. Avoid personal attacks, insults, or derogatory language. Spreading of any fud is not permitted, whatsoever. Whether it be regarding this project, or others.

  3. Collaborate effectively: Foster a collaborative and constructive atmosphere. Encourage open communication, active listening, and diverse perspectives. Be open to feedback and willing to consider alternative viewpoints.

  4. Follow GitHub Community Guidelines: Familiarize yourself with and adhere to the guidelines and policies set forth by GitHub themselves. Respect the decisions made by the maintainers and moderators in these circumstances.

  5. Report and address issues: If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this code of conduct, please report it to the project maintainers immediately. They will address the issue promptly and confidentially.

  6. No spam or self-promotion: Avoid posting irrelevant or promotional content that is not related to the project. Keep discussions focused on the project's goals and objectives. This includes making code or documentation contributions that engage in any form of self-promotion or, advertisement, or endorsement of projects unapproved by the project maintainers, here.

  7. Respect intellectual property: Do not plagiarize or infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. Only contribute original work or work that you have the necessary permissions to use, and that you feel comfortable releasing underneath our Software License Agreement. Do not include code that is proprietary in nature in your contributions.

  8. Be accountable: Take responsibility for your actions and their impact on the project and its community. If you make a mistake, apologize and learn from it by taking appropriate action. Strive to improve and grow as a contributor.

  9. No harmful code: We stand against the inclusion of harmful code in your contributions. This included viruses, trojan horses, worms, backdoors, or other forms of malware intended to comrpomise or otherwise do harm to any systems. We ask that your contribution remain unobfuscated to make this fair across the board. If you have found a valnerability, we ask that you consult the Security section of the Contributing document for proper reporting procedures.

Failure to comply with this code of conduct may result in temporary or permanent exclusion from the project and its community.
