VS Code: "Show AL Home at Startup" modifies our workspace files in VS Code each time we open a workspace!

1. Describe the bug
If I set "Al: Show Home at Startup" in the VS Code User Preferences, then the system will modify all the workspace file I open (and apply this user setting as a workspace setting). Please stop that. The User Preferences should NEVER touch our workspace files.

Restart VS Code

Open a workspace: see the git changes in your codespace file:
