  • Your Windows build number: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.16299.371]

  • What you're doing and what's happening: sudo systemctl enable postfix.service; closing and reopening the WSL box doesn't auto start postfix

  • What's wrong / what should be happening instead: postfix should've autostarted every boot or reopening of the WSL box

  • Strace of the failing command, if applicable: no command failing

WSL has no systemd/init.d support, thus no auto start of services.

How about creating service with wsl.exe?

Landing zone for systemd is #994; also some commentary in #511 et al.
