I am having this issue too on https://insiders.vscode.dev, with opening recent files AND opening remote repos... (well at least something similar)... Resetting the browser cache does not fix it either.

Tried doing CTRL + SHIFT + P then selecting the command, Remote Repositories: Open Remote Repository (something like that, and it gave me this error:

Looks like this is an issue with the extension, Remote Repositories. It seems not to be able to locate it or access it, even though it shows as installed.

EDIT This seems to be resolved...
