Allow to specify memory for server #20
Comments
Turns out this was a memory issue. The node only has 1GB memory. Increasing to 2 was enough to let it start. I've leave this open though, because this should + slapd be able to run on lower memory. Is there any setting that can be changed to do this? I'll create a PR and help out if you can point me in the right direction, it should be specifiable. Thanks! |
I had this issue with my own LDAP docker container on a tiny server and after looking around I found that you can run It just limits the number of open file descriptors that slapd is allowed to have and, so far, that seems to fix it for me. |
The container doesn't start when launched. I'm doing it with a very basic docker-compose setup with swarm.
