@a9p thanks for this submission. I will be looking for a handling editor. Unfortunately all editors in this domain are currently busy handling other submissions. Hence I have waitlisted this submission at the moment. We will assign an editor once one becomes available. Thanks for your patience.

@emdupre does this submission look like something you could handle as editor? You do seem to be handling several other submissions already, so do let me know if you prefer to leave this waitlisted for the moment, or if we can assign it to you now (and that perhaps you'd get to it whenever you have time). Thanks.

Thanks for the invitation, @Kevin-Mattheus-Moerman ! I am already managing two submissions, but I think this is well-aligned with my expertise so I'm happy to take this on. I'll try to get it started quickly.

👋 Hi @a9p, and thank you for your submission to JOSS !

If you have any suggestions for potential reviewers, please let me know by listing their names or GitHub handles (without the @ character, so they don't receive a notification) here.

👋 Hi @cellistigs, @dghoshal-lbl, @mattgolub, @lyprince,

Would you be willing to review High-performance neural population dynamics modeling enabled by scalable computational infrastructure for JOSS (the Journal of Open Source Software)?

You can learn more about reviewing for JOSS -- including our conflict of interest policy -- here.

The review takes place on GitHub and focuses on the software and this short paper:
https:/openjournals/joss-papers/blob/joss.04892/joss.04892/10.21105.joss.04892.pdf

If you're available to review this work, please let me know and I'll add you as a reviewer. Once I have sufficient reviewers I'll open a dedicated review issue.

Thank you !

Hi @emdupre, thank you for keeping up with this! Chatting with the team, we think the following would be capable reviewers in addition to the ones you suggested:

  • Guillaume Hennequin (ghennequin)
  • Lea Duncker (leaduncker)
  • Juan Gallego lab
  • Andreas Tolias lab

Thank you for the suggestions, @a9p !

I've also reached out to a few potential reviewers over email ; I will, though, send out new invitations after the holiday (tomorrow and Friday here in the US).

👋 Hi @ghennequin, @shrinandj, @richford, @rabernat,

Would you be willing to review High-performance neural population dynamics modeling enabled by scalable computational infrastructure for JOSS (the Journal of Open Source Software)?

This submission aims to provide container-native access for training AutoLFADS models across unmanaged (using Ray) and managed (using KubeFlow and Kubernetes) compute clusters.

You can learn more about reviewing for JOSS -- including our conflict of interest policy -- here.

The review takes place on GitHub and focuses on the software and this short paper:
