Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

  • Today, we support passing remote store settings (enable/disable, repo name) as part of cluster settings but assume that before creating the index, the repo is created by user. This fails index creation if repository is not created and not a good user experience.
  • Also, it does not work if we want to support remote store integration for system indices as system indices are created as part of cluster bootstrap.
  • To support this, we need to accept repository settings as part of cluster settings and create a repository as part of node bootstrap.
