Describe the idea

In Android Auto I have no zoom in/out buttons on the display of my car when using OsmAnd.
Specifically in "Free Ride" (e.g. when starting) mode I think the zoom level is to low (i.e.: You don't really see in which street you actually are, because there are so many displayed, but with no names). Similar to the sampe the the instructions.

I'd prefer a more "zoomed in" display.

Expected behaviour

I think within "city speeds" (~30 - 50 km/h) the map zoom level should be rather high, so that one can see the next crossing, and maybe the name of the street (specifically when inside towns). When driving faster (e.g. > 80 km/h) the zoom level could reduce, specifically when there are no turns or crossings nearby.
If possible, displaying zoom in/out buttons on the display might help, overriding the automatic zoom level.

Alternatives you've considered

Disconnect the phone from the car and use it in a phone holder to be able to control the zoom level.

Context

I'm exploring the capabilities of OsmAnd and Android Auto. So far the idea is nice, but a dedicated navigation device works better.
