As part of this pull request I uploaded to Fuel the three animal buoys. Check them out here.

It also added a new wildlife_task.sdf world, that populates the three animal buoys and uses the TrajectoryFollower plugin to follow some waypoints. @j-herman , I hope this is useful to your wildlife scoring plugin.

How to test it?

  1. Run the simulation as usual:
ros2 launch vrx_gz competition.launch.py world:=wildlife_task
  1. Check that the new animal buoys float and follow a reasonable trajectory.
