In Civilization I, a segmentation fault appears when playing new invention sound under Win11 #1035

On any new invention, a segmentation fault error appears, but the game can be continued.
This is under Win11

Can't repo in windows 10. It doesn't happen with aero enabled either. It uses sndplaysound and there have been other os version specific crashes, #642, so a trace is needed.

I was wrong, the problem is still there. It seems it appears on any Win11 system, very much reproducible.

I don't have a computer right now that windows 11 can be installed on.

Windows 11 can be installed on any 64-bit capable system.

Tried a computer with windows 11. No crash. The exact version I'm using is 1.2.0. If yours is different then that might be why. Otherwise, it's not getting fixed without a trace.
